Who is responsible

Petculator is run by Marcos Ortega, an individual based in Spain (contact: contact@petculator.com). Because the owner is established in the European Union, this site follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for every visitor, wherever you are. Full identification details are in the legal notice.

What you type into the calculators

Nothing. The calculators run entirely in your browser: your pet's weight, age, dates and costs are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we don't store them. The only thing saved on your device is your light/dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage.

What we collect

• Email. If you write to us, your email address and message, only to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent when you write (GDPR art. 6.1.a). We delete them 12 months after the conversation ends.
• Server and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f).
• Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you or tracking you across sites (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f).

We never sell your personal information and never share it except with the providers named here. Cookies are explained in the cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, or object to its use, by emailing contact@petculator.com. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) or your local one.

US residents (including California): we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent, and we honor the same access and deletion requests described above.

International transfers

Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
